They finally manged to get Lina's line fixed last night. They had to cut off one lumen and glue a new one on.
It took quite a while and poor Lina had to be pinned down for it, staring at everyone in sterile clothes and masks
infront of their face.

Lina thought she is going to make things a bit more tricky. This morning her central line (port) which has been acting up a bit lately fully stopped working. Down we went for a chest x-ray to check if it had migrated out of the vein. Lina was strapped down with her hands over her head and we both sang "hands up baby hands up" (ham-ham baby ham-ham). Lina is sleeping right now while receiving her day 4 chemo, only one more day to go after today, yay. So far she has been tolerating it all very well. Her counts are dropping but are still somewhat ok. We are expecting the big drop in a few days. Lina is dealing with very low blood pressure since we have checked into BCCH. As long as her numbers are over 70/40 we will be allowed to go home on ...

I am sad to let you all know that Lina's surgery got cancelled due to a major relapse of her cancer that was detected
in an MRI at SickKids hospital on Friday late afternoon. Her cancer has grown more than 20% in the last 3 weeks since our last MRI.

I have to apologize about the lack of updates but the last few months have been hell due to constant changes in plans, unknowns and waiting followed by more waiting. I also have to apologize as I have a feeling this update will be rather long.
