Happy Day 4 despite low blood pressure
Lina is sleeping right now while receiving her day 4 chemo, only one more day to go after today, yay. So far she has been tolerating it all very well. Her counts are dropping but are still somewhat ok. We are expecting the big drop in a few days. Lina is dealing with very low blood pressure since we have checked into BCCH. As long as her numbers are over 70/40 we will be allowed to go home on Monday or Tuesday. The chemo she is getting isn't one that effects the blood pressure so they are not sure what is causing it. It also looks like due to the size of the tumour her digestion is compromised again and she will be dependent on peg once again. All in all we are doing great though and I am just coming up with ideas how to turn our backyard into a summer-beach area for the girls while we are on isolation. I am just waiting to see if this chemo is working and if we will continue with more rounds and therefore hopefully get to spend some time at home in between rounds. :)
