New Relapse = No surgery
I am sad to let you all know that Lina's surgery got cancelled due to a major relapse of her cancer that was detected
in an MRI at SickKids hospital on Friday late afternoon. Her cancer has grown more than 20% in the last 3 weeks since our last MRI.
We are flying back to BC on Wednesday to start a new chemo protocol first thing on Thursday hoping to shrink the very fast growing tumor again (in order to attempt surgery afterwards). We are shocked and sad for Lina and Frieda. Frieda is very upset about chemo starting again "it makes her so sick and she won't have hair again and I just want her to have long hair like me"
I will wrirte a more detailed update once we have settled into our new rountine and we have an internet connection again.
